The owner of the Ashville Game Farm in Greenwich has been indicted on a handful of charges related a ring tail lemur biting a boy this past summer. In another alleged incident, a child was "attacked, dragged down to the ground and bitten by a pig." Also, multiple alligators have allegedly escaped from the facility. The teen accused of setting fire to a Delmar house in August in an attempt to cover up a credit card theft has pleaded guilty. [TU]

Troy police say there's been an outbreak of distemper in foxes around the city. While not a direct threat to humans, distemper is often deadly in domestic dogs and cats. A Lansingburgh man, who was bitten by a distemper infected fox recently, said it was "cool" to the see the fox, but "then he was like 'RARRRRR' and had my leg and I am saying 'get him off me, get him off me'."
