Music this week

The Farewell Drifters

In a variation on the "the week ahead" thing, we're trying "music this week" ... this week. We'll see how it goes. Maybe we'll do this for a while.

ps: the sophomore Severe Severe album is out this week too! You can get more details at www.severesevere.com

I would almost fly back to Albany to see Times New Viking. They are the toppest notch.

Great idea! I like the week ahead posts a lot; this should be another useful weekly feature.

Huh. I was at the print shop when the man was making up the posters for Times New Viking. Small worlds, etc.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

It's a colossal social failure that starts with the breakdown of families and then circles back around to more breakdown of families. I've lived next to drop-outs, and I've seen firsthand the lack of parenting that sends the signal, passed from generation to generation. No magical teacher or administrator is going to reach down and counter that effect.
