The Green River Festival returns July 8-10 in Western Mass with a lineup headlined by the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Los Lobos, and North Mississippi Allstars. The full announced (so far) lineup is after the jump.

The festival is on the grounds of Greenfield Community College in Greenfield, Massachusetts -- it's about a two-hour drive from Albany.

A full weekend pass is $119.99 / $99 for a Saturday and Sunday pass / $64.99 for Saturday or Sunday / $29.99 for Friday. There are also festival camping passes available.

Fresh Grass Festival 2016 lineup

The lineup for this year's Fresh Grass Festival at MASS MoCA is out. And the top of the bill includes Old Crow Medicine Show, Glen Hansard, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, The Devil Makes Three, Rosanne Cash, and The Infamous Stringdusters.

The full lineup (announced so far) is after the jump. The festival also includes events like a silent film screenings with live scores.

Fresh Grass is September 16-18 this year on the grounds of MASS MoCA over in North Adams. Early bird festival passes currently $96 for adults / $86 for students / $46 for kids 7-16.

The Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival is back July 14-17. And the lineup includes a bunch of names you'll recognize -- including headliners Bela Fleck (of his own fame) and Chris Thile (of his fame and also The Punch Brothers).

The full lineup (announced so far) is quickly listed after the jump.

Full-festival tickets are already on sale -- there are currently early bird passes for $190. Day tickets go on sale February 16.

Grey Fox is at the Walsh Farm in Oak Hill, in northern Greene County, not far from the Albany County line. It's about 30 miles south(west) of Albany.

Saratoga Jazz Fest 2016 lineup

Smokey Robinson is among the headliners.

The Freihofer's Saratoga Jazz Festival returns to SPAC June 25-26. And this year's line-up includes Smokey Robinson, Chick Corea, Shemekia Copeland, Joey Alexander Trio, a still-to-be-announced headliner, and many others. The full announced lineup is after the jump.

Tickets for the general public go on sale on today (January 19) -- day tickets start at $65, and festival passes start at $110.

Mountain Jam 2016 lineup

Beck is among the headliners.

The lineup for the 2016 Mountain Jam music festival is out. Headliners include: Beck, Wilco, The Avett Brothers, Gov't Mule, Umphrey's McGee, Thievery Corporation, Brandi Carlile, and Jason Isbell.

The full lineup (announced so far) is post jump.

Mountain Jam is June 2-5 this year. Tickets are are currently on sale: a 3-day pass (without camping) is $185 and a 4-day pass (without camping) is $205.

As you know, Hunter Mountain is in Hunter, New York, in the northern Catskills. It's a little more than an hour drive from Albany.
