Thank you!
When we started AOA a decade ago we had no idea what was going to happen. And it turned out better than we could have expected. We met so many interesting people and learned so much about this place.
Now that it's ended we are so grateful for the relationships, for the stories, for the comments, for the encouragement, for everyone who took a chance on us -- for all of it.
Thank you.

You kept me informed, lifted me culturally (a bit) and helped me broaden my social life. You listened and advised, gently.

Thank you, Mary and Greg, for being great and for shining light on the fun and interesting that was happening in Albany and the greater Capital Region. I may not be in the area anymore and may have been a bit busy with all my going ons of daily life but I admire you both and the work you dedicated yourself to that brought people and our region together.

Thank you for the wonderful article which was also used for a DVD which interviewed my Mom, Ruth Schlomberg and several other long-term Troy folks about life in this area during WWII and the dedication everyone had to the war effort. She was so proud to talk about this very important chapter in her life working as a "Rosie the Riverter" at the Watervliet Arsenal and making every effort to be mindful of the efforts they could make at home to assist our troops. Thank you again!

By now you guys know that your are missed. Being old enough to remember Larry Hart, a reporter for the older Schenectady Gazette, he enlightemed his readers with a column titled, "Tales of Old Dorp", an older take on Scenectady with a lean towards it's Dutch Heritage, hence the Dorp wich is a Dutch word. Please come back, you are certainly missed.
