Cat Noel on WifeSwap: the other side of the story

WifeSwap Noel familyAfter reading that TU article today about Cat Noel's appearance on Wife Swap tonight, we got the impression the woman she swapped with -- Sue Ann McGoldrick -- was some kind of terror. "Sue Ann had very rigid ideas about rules and gender roles. She had some harsh things to say about me without ever meeting me," Noel told the TU of her Texas counterpart. Eek.

WifeSwap McGoldrick familyBut there are two sides (or more) to almost every story. And if you read about tonight's show in the San Antonio paper, you get an almost mirror image of the situation. In that version McGoldrick is described as "well-to-do" and "meticulous," while Noel gets tagged as "a raunchy New York shock jock." And check out what McGoldrick says about Noel's husband and marriage: "He's a stay-at-home dad, who serves his wife and caters to their son and does nothing for himself."

Hmm. It looks the only way we can get to the bottom of this is to watch tonight. Because everything that happens on realty TV is true, right?

By the way, what makes McGoldrick "well-to-do"? She and her husband run a crematorium for pets. And it seems there's quite a bit of bank in helping Fluffy find that fire hydrant in the sky.
