Hip-hop history: Jeff Chang at SUNY Cobleskill

Jeff_Chang.jpg If hip-hop is your thing, you may want to take a drive to Cobleskill on Wednesday night. SUNY Cobleskill is hosting a free talk by Hip-hop historian Jeff Chang. Chang is the founder of the Quannum recording label and the author of "Can't Stop, Won't Stop: The Definitive History of the Hip-Hop Generation." The book uses hip-hop to look back at late 20th Century cultural, social and political history. The lecture starts at 8 PM in the SUNY Cobleskill Bouck Auditorium. It's part of Cobleskill's Ch-ch-ch-changes series, which looks at how late 20th Century arts and culture were influenced by history and political events.
