Skipping through The Neighborhood

The NeighborhoodAmong the topics in the most recent spin around the Capital Region's online neighborhood: mystery egg rolls, Mangia auction info, a great show at Valentine's, and Saratoga parking.

There's a new CelinaBean mystery. This time around, Celina's asking if you can name this egg roll. A big plate of 'em is on the line.

Steve Barnes reports that Mangia's not dead... at least, not yet. And if you're looking for something to remember it by, the restaurant's equipment will be auctioned off soon.

Matthew Loiacono was at Valentine's the other night and it sounds like he really felt the Cuddle Magic.

And you know that idea about adding parking meters to downtown Saratoga? It seems to have made the person behind i-Saratoga even crankier than usual. Of course, we mean that in a good way.

There's a lot more going on around the neighborhood, check it out. And if you know of a great blog or site we should include, post a comment or send us an email: editors |at| alloveralbany |dot| com.

Mangia is the answer to my dreams. As a busy career woman in need of both a urinal AND bouillon cups, I thought I'd never find the time to buy it all. With one quick stop at their auction, though, I'll be all set!

Seriously--who on EARTH would buy a used urinal, and why? I truly want to know.

Siobhan: Simple. Marcel Duchamp.

The Scoop

Albany tightened its rules for shoveling snowy sidewalks last winter -- so how'd that work out?
