You have to give Joe Bruno credit -- he might have actually managed to stir up a little bit of sympathy for Eliot Spitzer yesterday. And he's also willing to eat pencils, apparently.

Well, maybe Bruno can get the room next to Spitzer in rehab. They can keep tabs on each other while making crooked back-room deals w/nurses for various favors, while our esteemed former love guv can run around making steamroller noises.
