A bunch of artists got together this past weekend at the Troy River Street Festival to compete in a sidewalk painting (or chalking) contest sponsored by the Arts Center of the Capital Region. The judge's winner, chalked by Renata and Regina Memole, is above. The people's choice winner and a few other pieces are after the jump.

I was inspired by this, and did some chalk drawings on my drive way. But then a passing shower erased it. Looks like I'm still under the curse of the gypsy princess and my magic toad spell did nothing to lift it. Dang.

how unfortunate pantaloons =p i think you have to do the other toad spell that requires 3 goat sacrifices and a newt eye
