Guess who can't get enough about John Mayer

john mayerGoogle Trends is just an endless source of information entertainment... until you find out something that makes you reconsider everything.

After plugging "John Mayer" into Google Trends, Gawker found that the number one city for searches about the singer/guitarist/romancer-of-famous-women is... Albany.

(Thanks, Naomi!)

I think my friend Kari may be responsible for that.

Seriously, the girl is obsessed.

I'm not surprised AT ALL. Every girl I know is in love with him. And it seems like he's in the area more than Dave Matthews. Maybe that's why! He knows where he's wanted. I don't know what makes him so obsession-worthy. I find his boyish charm and mean looking tattoos rather confusing. Like a growling puppy dog. So cute. Don't maul me. So cute. Ouch, I'm bleeding.

There's something about "jamband" bands/guitarists that places Albany near the top..

I take exception to that, Bridget. :) :) :)

Although this IS year 3 for me at SPAC. I'm going alone this year.

Persistence does work. I met him last year! :)

Who would have thought that the city of Troy could have chosen a building uglier than the one they're already in as the location of their new city hall? It's okay, actually. If the plans for the future of the current City Hall site pan out, they can put the new city hall in Cohoes for all I care.
