Not so hot dog
Jay Dines, who's been selling some tasty all-natural hot dogs at At The Warehouse, was in the New York Times this past week because he's been booted from a group of farmers' markets in New York City. The organizers of the markets say Dines violated their "producer-only" rule -- in other words, they say he was selling meat he didn't raise. Dines admits as much, but he argues that the producer-only rule is unrealistic.
It's a story worth reading if you're curious about where your food -- even the all-natural kind -- comes from.

Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
