One of these days, I'd like to see the top 15 for 88.3 The Saint. Their slogan is "we play anything", and boy are they serious. Last week I heard the theme song to The Neverending Story followed by Boys 2 Men. Pretty soon they'll just start playing random sounds, like a fog horn and some dude whistling on the bus.

Barold- Ah yes, I am quite familiar. For a while I thought "polka sunday" was meant as a sarcastic joke. Because really that's the only way it made sense. But my grandfather-in-law waits all week for that program. He even turns his hearing aid off during the week to ensure maximum battery power for Sundays (that's how you know it's a special event). He doesn't want to miss a note!

Personally, I avoid Polka Sundays, hearing aid or no hearing aid - but LOVE the station identifier they do when the woman with the (presumably) English accent says "we play anything". I often "talk back" to her and say "I bet you do".
