Passing Fashion: Sofya's polka dots

Passing Fashion Sofya

Pretty in polka dots.

Who?
Sofya, a pre-med student at UAlbany

Where?
Uncommon Grounds

Where do you shop?
I shop at the mall a lot. Express, Forever 21. And thrift shops in New York.

What's with the polka dots?
I'm obsessed with polka dots. My grandmother and my mom are obsessed with them too. I think it's a comfort thing. I love them because I saw them a lot when I was growing up.

How would you describe your style?
It depends on my mood. Comfort is most important. I like layering things. I like an outfit that will work all day.

Do you wear a lot of black and white?
Definitely. Black is my thing. I think that's because of my mom too. You never see her in anything but black. I wear a lot of black and white and pink.

AOA's Take:
The layers make it look comfortable and ready for day or night, the black and white give it a sophisticated look and the polka dots add a little vintage fun.

I can't tell if she's talking on an invisible cell phone or picking wax out of her ears.

i like it kinda but my initial reaction was that theres way to much black. why not a colored cardigan? or a metallic? or if your gonna keep it all black go with a colored shoe and some shiny accessaries. its a good attempt but its definatly kinda boring. just add color. otherwise i like the dress n heels
