Charlie Everywhere tonight at Red Square

Charlie Everywhere

Sarah Barthel and Joshua Carter

Here's a way to kick off the weekend early: Charlie Everywhere is playing tonight at Red Square.

The much-buzzed-about Saratoga Springs duo is coming off a packed show at the most recent Troy Night Out after party. And, yep, you probably saw them on the cover of Metroland recently.

Also on tonight's bill: BEWARE! the Other Head of Science and Oddy Gato. The show starts at 8 pm -- it's $5.

I'll be there, even though I kind of want to see the felice brothers at the Linda. Local music comes first.

I went to the show @ Red Square, and it was pretty freakin awesome. Charlie Everywhere was impressive, and the opening two bands were also very enjoyable. I just can't believe how few people were down there....my God, there must be more people in Albany than that who like good music.

You should've called me! I would've gone but I thought I would be by myself. I really liked what I heard on their myspace.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.

Albany tightened its rules for shoveling snowy sidewalks last winter -- so how'd that work out?

If winter ever gets its act together and drops more snow on us, there will be sidewalks to shovel. And shortly after that, Albany will... (more)
