Jack-o-lanterns
Random agricultural fact of the day: New York is the nation's third biggest producer of pumpkins in terms of value. Last year the Empire State grew $22.7 million of the squash. (Only pumpkin crops in Ohio and Illinois were worth more.) But NY doesn't rank among the top states for pounds of pumpkins produced. So, yeah, we grow some awfully nice pumpkins here, like Louis Vuitton squash or something.
