For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.

As I commented on Steve's blog, it could be good but I have my doubts that a proper bier garten could operate in the US -- it's the atmosphere that makes it special, and there's too much drunken obnoxiousness surrounding the drinking culture here. If there's even a hint of Coors Light or anything of that ilk you can count me out, but I really *really* hope this venture works out.
