Rex Smith loves his car dealer

Buried in a Rex Smith editor's column about a special election section the TU printed is this bit about some boffo service from a car dealer:

"But I'm hoping you had a reaction when you got that section similar to the way I felt about a local car dealer the other day: The people who sold me a car last year came to my house and picked up the car, then changed the oil and rotated the tires before returning the car to my garage, all within three hours. I love those guys. They gave me the service I wanted. I'll probably buy another car from them."

Does anyone know which dealer does this?

One hour media project!

hmmm.. I think the real question would be: Would the service have been so wonderful if not provided to the editor of the local paper?

Um, none of them, except when Rex Smith comes in.

Did they leave a mint on the dashboard?

I understand Capitaland in Scotia and the Subaru dealership in Ravena due this.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
