Offsite

David Paterson's hastily called press conference last night was reportedly attended by all of four members of the press. Where was everybody? The Wine Bar on Lark, where they were "conferenced in." Note to selves: angle to do more work from wine bars. (Update: Liz Benjamin has more about the "press room" set up last night at the wine bar.)

Comments

I was actually at the Wine Bar last night, but I didn't see a gaggle of media types crowded around a phone. I wish I had.

Just in case anyone wanted more proof of how lazy the mainstream media has gotten, here ya go; they couldn't even manage to get up and walk the THREE BLOCKS to the Capitol Bldg. Nice job, guys.
