The Wrap -- the workhorse of winter fashion

Target wraps

Warm, versatile and cheap.

By Amy Brozio-Andrews

I love the humble wrap. It's great for just a little added warmth when you're dressed in thin or sleeveless fashions at holiday parties and winter weddings. And it does double duty as a colorful scarf or even a head-covering in a pinch, when you find yourself caught in a snow squall.

I spotted these Merona "Giftable Wraps" this morning at Target. They come in green, blue, pink, red, white, black, pink, and more. They're good sized -- 72" x 28" with a fringe, and super-soft (100% viscose and machine washable). And at $12.99, you can stock up before the holiday "going out" season begins -- for yourself or for gift-giving.

Ahhh, I'd recognize those plastic Target hanger rings anywhere (before even reading the story). Those scarves are great. I bought three -- different colors, of course!

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
