What's up in the Neighborhood

The NeighborhoodAmong the topics in this most recent spin around the Capital Region's online neighborhood: trolley poles, lost relatives, hidden dangers, strange cargo, wax lions and Christmas music.

With some help from her friends, TQL spotted a few trolley poles still standing in Albany.

Susan found a new relative, who "should have been first lady."

Noted: don't play in the leaf piles at Rob's house.

Albany Daily Photo spotted an enormous wind turbine blade being hauled down Washington Ave -- either that, or it was a giant metal tooth pick.

Naomi gave up her wax lion -- even though she didn't want to.

CW is already hearing Christmas music on the radio and she's not so happy about all the ho-ho-ho'ing.

Yes, there has been Christmas music on Albany radio for a few weeks now. It's pretty much my cue to start removing the empty beer cans, broken down car & rusted out washer and dryer from my front lawn in order to make way for my plastic reindeer and inflatable Santa. Did I mention my inflatable Santa is on a motorcycle? Ha! Awesome, right?
