TwinkleStudio

Twinkle Studio necklaceSara Vaccarielli, a jewelry designer in Saratoga Springs, emailed this week to let us know that she's launched an Etsy store under the name TwinkleStudio. Here's how Sara describes how she goes about making "swanky, flirty accessories":

I love finding and bringing life back to vintage jewels! The history of these pieces is so intriguing and mysterious. Oh if they could talk!

Plus this vintage revival is eco-friendly! You don't have to give up luxury to be green... quite the contrary.

Sara's offering a free pair of earrings to the AOA crowd (through the end of the year) when they make a purchase in her store. Just mention the phrase "I love AOA!"

Oh come on! What a missed opportunity to have a little fun with AOA readers. What about instead:
- "Michael J. Fox Stole my Hoverboard"
- "The Handicapped Stall is the Biggest"
- "Not My Taco Salad"
- "Cows Have Feelings Too"
- "Tiny Robots in the Future"

(and yes, they make good band names too, thanks B.)

The jewelry is absolutely beautiful. Is there a physical store or studio that one could visit or just the Etsy store?

B, if you want to buy something and put in any of your creative comments, I'll be sure you get a free pair of earrings and some chocolate, too! ;)

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
