Unbelievably cheap blazers at the Gap

Gap blazers

Marked down. Way down.

Here's a deal for the guys: the Gap at Crossgates right now is running a boffo sale on men's blazers.

They've marked down a whole bunch of them -- in a range of colors and fabrics -- at least 50 percent. Some have been marked down twice -- and you then get 40 percent off that price. We scored a brown moleskin jacket for $12.50 last night. You read that correctly.

It's almost unbelievable. The guy standing next to us at the checkout counter had this response when he heard about it: (eyes popped out) "Really?!?" And it's not just sizes XXL or XS -- as of last night there were plenty of S,M and L.

The jackets are located on the right side of the store in the walkway to the Gap Kids. The ridiculously-priced ones were in the middle of the walkway.

Comments

Wow, how many moles does it take to make an entire jacket?!

...well not anymore, since you went and blabbed about it all over the internets!

I went after work today and I'd like to report that there seem to be only odd sizes left.

Also I wasn't pleased with the styling of the jackets, but perhaps that's just my taste.

If the blazers are anything like the ones in the photograph, why pay anything for them? Just something else to throw away.

Laminechtome is so right. These blazers are trash. For the record, I consider all clothes without rhinestones & sequined jewels to be straight up garbage. I suppose you could try adding your own with the BeDazzler, but, let's be honest. It's just not the same.

Sale is over. Went at lunch today, 40% off sign was still up, but the sale was over. I got the deal, but its over now.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

Don't give up. Our paperwork was denied, and we contested their findings. We took detailed photos of the properties the city used as comps explaining why they were worth more than our house, and found truly relevant comps. Eventually a mediator (judge?) sat in a small conference room with us and we won. See? you can fight City Hall.
