What's up in the Neighborhood

The NeighborhoodAmong the topics in this most recent spin around the Capital Region's online neighborhood: pets, pet peeves, books stores, The Cheesecake Factory, date night and sweaters.

Stuck in a dark, cold house Rob pondered which of his pets he would eat first.

Noted, thanks to Alex: don't give bones from Creo (or cooked bones from anywhere, really) to dogs. And the best jerk sauce comes from sketchy, duct-taped containers smuggled from Jamaica.

Fun in Saratoga suggests a Saratoga history book -- and a book store at which to buy it.

Steve has a pet peeve -- and it involves the future tense.

Laura google-famously hates The Cheesecake Factory.

Leigh shares the pleasures of platonic date night at the Palais.

And the picture Kim took of her new sweater made us smile -- it's like it's peeking out at us from behind a door.

There's a lot more going on around the Neighborhood, check it out. If you know of another great blog we should include, post a comment or send us an email: editors |at| alloveralbany |dot| com.

The only "good" bones to give a dog are beef based. They splinter the least. You still need to watch them but they're definitely the best bet.

Also, bone marrow is tasty as heck. Eat that stuff up, then give the leftovers to your dog. They will appreciate it. Trust me. So will you.

yay! thanks for the nod....that sweater was one of the many items i bought for *myself* while i was out christmas shopping this week. :-P

I've been digging this local blog lately and not just because it's got an awesome name: http://thepunklibrarian.blogspot.com/
