Clearly Mr. Louis hasn't been paying attention to recent events at RPI. I think there are many who would disagree with his opinion that Dr Jackson is an extraordinary candidate!

As an alum I thought of her instantly when Paterson first outlined his preferred "qualifications" for the position. I really can't say whether I'd like to see her in that position, though.

Dr. Jackson would do well for NY and RPI if she takes it. I admire her achievements at RPI so far. As an alum (who was a student during her tenure), I like the fact that she is making my degree a worthwhile investment.
