What's up in the Neighborhood
Among the topics in this most recent spin around the Capital Region's online neighborhood: mayoral elections, parking problems, coats, feeling spoiled, snow, Creo, sushi and Mad Men.
One of Kristi's regular commenters -- and, um, a colorful one at that -- has announced that he's running for mayor of Albany.
Beth at Bath-on-Hudson has heard that the Megabus is causing parking problems in Rensselaer.
Naomi has a well-timed a giveaway: a "fiercely warm" coat.
Leigh says Center Square has her feeling very spoiled.
Albany Daily Photo woke up to find snow in their bed.
One of Kristi's readers says she got some less-than-great customer service at Creo.
Steve got a preview of a new sushi place in Delmar.
And Celina says she's found a cake worthy of Mad Men at Cardona's.
There's a lot more going on around the Neighborhood, check it out. We've recently added a handful of new sites. If you know of another great blog we should include, post a comment or send us an email: editors |at| alloveralbany |dot| com.

When I was waiting for the Megabus I didn't notice any severe parking problems. There was space available in the lot, and maybe the front of a block that was signed with 'residence only parking' or something like that. But no one was jammed in like sardines or anything.
But otherwise, it's street parking - you roll the dice with space availability. Sometimes you luck out and get a close spot, or one right in front of your place, other times you might have to park on the next block.
Given the option, I'd probably park in the lot just because it seems 'safer' than street parking, where this time of the year with snow plowing, emergencies, etc paying $3 a day isn't so bad. In better weather I don't really see a problem.
