Pulling the plug
It looks like Circuit City is on its way to closing for good. The chain's sell-off of merchandise could start as early as Saturday -- so you might be able to score a deal or two at the Crossgates Commons location. (Or, as bk points out, maybe not.)
Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

This is an awful idea. If this is run anything like the CompUSA liquidation, the prices for items will generall be higher than at Amazon or Newegg.
Check the web before thinking something that says 40% off is a good buy, because it most likely it isn't.

Feel free to bring you iPhone or iPod Touch and steal Panera's wifi to search for better prices online while in Circuit City. I've done this before when Circuit City's website prices differed from in store ones.
