New York's next senator is...
David Paterson was on Larry King last night and apparently he decided to pull Larry's chain a little bit:
Larry King: I know you're not going to tell me, but are you leaning any way?
Paterson: Well, Larry, I think I'll surprise you. When I was growing up and I didn't have much access to information, I used to listen to your radio show. [snip] So in tribute to you, the next Senator from New York for the United States Senate will be... announced in a few days.
Paterson told King the actual answer would come "two or three days" after Hillary Clinton is confirmed by the full Senate.
By the way, Paterson felt light-headed this morning and had to skip out on an interview with CapNews9's Brian Taffe.
Update at 2:55 pm
Liz Benjamin reports that Paterson said he was feeling bad after eating some bad raw seafood. Hmm. Maybe he ate the Ethiopian place Bourdain hits on tonight's No Reservations.
