Former Rangers goalie Mike Richter has taken himself out of consideration as a Democratic candidate for the special election to replace Kirsten Gillibrand. Get this: Richter has a private equity firm that invests in "companies that provide any of a diverse range of goods and services to prevent, limit, or correct environmental damage to water, air, soil, or human health."
