Squash, anyone?

One more for the list of "huh, didn't know that about her" stuff: Kirsten Gillibrand was the captain of the Dartmouth squash team. Her former coach tells Vanity Fair that KG (then Tina Rutnik) "won with finesse and knowing where to hit the ball."

As a fellow squash player, I was very excited about this.

Tina Rutnik? I didn't know that was Tina Rutnik. She owes me money!!

Nice to read that Senator Corning has a stand up WASP background... nothing finer than Dartmouth and squash, except maybe gin and tonics on Nantucket... what do you bet that is in her background too...

As long as her squash nickname wasn't barracuda, I'm okay with this.

How come she didn't disclose that she changed her name from T.R. on her form to the Gov. applying for the Senate seat?

@MarMar - actually, she does disclose on that form that she used to go by Rutnik, her maiden name. Tina was just a nickname for Kirsten, and those don't necessarily have to be listed.
