Phantogram tonight at Rev Hall
Phantogram (nee Charlie Everywhere) is playing at Revolution Hall tonight with The New Deal.
You know that Joshua and Sarah from Phantogram are going to put on a good show (video from a recent show in Saratoga). And Sebastien tells us that The New Deal (Canadian, as it happens) are also worth checking out. TND's music has been described as "livetronica."
Tickets are $23. Doors open at 8 pm.
(Thanks, Sebastien!)

Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

I heard they changed their name to The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Seriously though, TND is crazy fun, don't forget your glowsticks.

Phantogram: the best thing to come out of the Whipple City since Susan B. Anthony. Not counting Hal Ketchum of course.

I missed Phantogram, got there around 10:30, but the New Deal was great. Rev Hall was PACKED, I was amazed so many people came out on a random snowy Wednesday...

Yeah it was pretty good. Came on at about 10:45 and played until almost 1:30 with a twenty minute break in between sets. First time I've seen them live...the crappy live CD's I've been listening to for 5 years doesn't do them justice.

Honestly, though, that wasn't even tND at the top of their game... I believe this was the first show of the tour, so by their last shows they should really be used to playing with each other again and really do a great performance.
The best shows I saw them do were at Berkfest years ago ('02? '03?)... nothing like dancing to tND outside on the grass!
