Harvey Milk and UAlbany

UAlbany fact of the day: Harvey Milk is an alumnus. He graduated in 1952 with a major in mathematics (he was from Long Island). Joe Persico, who was one of Milk's classmates, told the UAlbany news service, "He was a known character on campus. He was not a shrinking violet by any means, he thrust himself into the forefront." (Thanks, Lorre!)

Harvey Milk has been an inspiration to me on some good ways. I am also a BS Mathematics graduate. I also hope for Harvey Milk's success.
