Local ice cream fact of the day: Stewart's gave away more than 200,000 free ice cream cones last St. Patrick's Day -- for an average of 637 per shop. Because of the overwhelming turnout, this year's cones will be 50 cents each. [Daily Gazette]

I also got a free cone for voting. How much ass does that kick? One in November and another in April! You spoils us Ben & Jerry.
