GloFo, oh no!
AMD -- which just spun off GlobalFoundries, the company that will run the Luther Forest chip fab -- announced today that Intel is threatening to cancel a key technology sharing agreement that allows AMD to produce chips for PCs. The rub: the deal was supposed to keep the tech between AMD and Intel, and now there's a question about whether GloFo counts as a new, unlicensed partner. Some are saying the dispute will drag out. The stock market doesn't seem concerned -- AMD shares are up more than 5 percent today.

You know when like someone is talking & you don't understand what they're saying but you don't want to look dumb so you just shake your head up and down and say "hmmm" and "right" a lot? That.
