Cupcake clash

Check out this fun video of the cupcake showdown between editors/writers for the Post-Star and Spa City Cupcakes owner Rachel St. Martin. Having sampled Rachel's peanut butter frosting one or ten times, we gotta say the outcome was an upset. (Earlier on AOA: An interview with Rachel St. Martin)

Yeah, I've had the peanut butter and chocolate cupcake from Spa City, and I don't believe that result for a second. The lemon/raspberry concoction looked like old people cookies, and considering the judges... I wasn't surprised at the vote.

there is nothing so sicken sweet as buttercream. its horrible. it's because of the trans fat i think. yet they did have some real cream filled cupcakes but whenever we looked for them thay didn't have any i guess they weren't the focus.

Having a child is indeed a second shot or at least a reminder of the magic of childhood. I thought of this yesterday and my 4 year old and myself rode figure 8's and generally raced all around the now empty parking lots of Sage, Albany College of Pharmacy and OPWDD on our BMX bikes.
