Snakes on a plate

According a post on Consumerist, a snakehead -- yep, literally the head of a snake -- found itself onto a plate "at a T.G.I.F. in the Capital Region of New York" in a side order of vegetables. Grainy monster photo included. There's no mention of the specific location and there's no response from Friday's, so who knows about the veracity of this story. At any rate, this is why you should always get the fries.

Wow.. see what happens when you try to eat healthy! So much for veg friendly!

This is disgusting beyong words. I would've lost my meal right then and there. That guy stayed incredibly calm.

According to comments, it happened in Clifton Park.

Word on the street is that it was the Friday's in Clifton Park.

No one cares about snakes. This blog used to be good, now it is unreadable with all this snake crap.

I worked at TGIF's in Styvesant plaza for a while in college (2000-2001), and I'm here to report that the servers always just scooped the salads together with their hands. Literally from the salad station in the kitchen right onto your dinner plate. No tongs. No gloves. I used to think that was bad. But THIS is just over the top disgusting.

Oh barf. I should not have clicked that link with a mouthful of turkey sandwich.

Get these mother#$% snakes off this mother#$% plate.

@Rob: oh not anymore. "I have had it with this monkey-fighting snake on this Monday-to-Friday plate!"

omg . that's it. I am never eating again. *vomit*

I am terrified of snakes and this just makes me want to cry!

@lk: you are terrified of a dead boiled snake head? :)

Very nice food photography on your blog BTW, I didn't know this one. Please keep eating.

@S: yes, I am terrified at a boil snake head!! I'm pretty sure if I saw that on my plate I would scream loud enough to shatter glass and then pass out. Thanks for the photography compliment- I appreciate it. I'll try to regain my appetitie... haha
