The Tulip Ball

too funky

Flickr user m00by has posted pictures from this year's Tulip Ball. The photo set includes a bunch of people in swank attire, including Juliana Hernandez, the new Tulip Queen.

Editors' note: we've changed this entry at the request of the photographers.

(Thanks, Andy!)

You know, Jennings' hair plugs were never so noticeable! That layer of sweat really lets his orange scalp shine through!

The term "Mayoral Grooving" sounds so dirty even I blushed. Hilarious AOA.

That's the orangest stank face I ever saw.

I feel bad for that girl.

Go Jeeeerrrry. Go Jeeeeerrry.

these photos were probably the best thing i've seen all day. so great!

Give the guy a frickn break, cant he be just a normal drunken albany person like the rest of the AOA drunkards?

I feel like I would be remiss if I didn't also mention the other shooter on that grassy knoll of a fantastic fun time saturday night, Marcie.... Catch her shots On her Flickr :) Got to watch out for our friends, yeah? =D

how can you bash Albany's #1 fan, he's constantly mixing it up with the population....and loves to enjoy himself, I'm sure lots of cities would like a mayor as rad and dedicated as ours
remember, Jerry loves Albany just as much as us, only he's 30 years older and the mayor

Oh dear God, my eyeballs need a bleach bath:

Great pics mOOby! I think I saw Lydia Kulbida in one of them - she was the only classy looking person there!

Once again, the Mayor makes it extremely hard for me to dislike him, though my instincts and common sense to me to

When I look at that pic of Jerry I can't help but think of that guy in Dumb & Dumber who collapsed on the floor in the restaurant after biting into his burger that was loaded with hot sauce.

By which you mean, "at the request of the photographers, shortly after they received emails from the mayor's office demanding the photos be removed"? All but one of the Jennings photos have disappeared. There's no expectation of privacy at a party like the Tulip Ball. Therefore, it seems that the photographers would at least have the legal right to take and publish those photos. Were they taken down out of courtesy? What's the real story here?

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
