Same-sex marriage split
According to a Q Poll out today, New Yorkers are split 46-46 on whether the state should make same-sex marriage legal. The tide seems to be shifting in favor of same-sex marriage, though -- a Q poll from five years ago reported that New Yorkers were against the idea 55-37. Also: FiveThirtyEight has a count of where the state Senate stands on the issue.

I'm glad to see my Senator is on the list. I wish the count wasn't so tight though. Have they scheduled a vote in the Senate yet?
