THE VILLAGE PEOPLE!? That is unbelievable! Albany is finally on the map! No seriously- that's going to be so much fun.

Yay Blues Traveler! The Village People= fun on a stick.

Much better lineup than previous years, but Grace Potter & The Nocturnals will be the highlight out of all the acts. Count on it!

That sounds...awful. Just awful. Since "tribute" is in scare-quotes, can we assume that they're being ironic and not actually paying homage to the Eagles?

Nice! I thought they perma canceled alive@5 due last years problems at the end?

Hey - my calendar is marked - The Village People - it should be a hoot watching those in attendance who cannot spell out YMCA !!!

Will they let Chris Porco out of Dannemora on a day pass to sign autographs at Alive at Five again?

@Mark: They talked about no longer serving alcohol as a result of the issues, so I wonder what's going to happen there.

Aww yeah, Tower of Power. Bring on the funk.

I didn't realize Blues Traveler had jumped the shark. My condolences to Mr. Popper.

@Kim: That was the oddest sight ever! Come this way to get the signature of an about-to-be-convicted murderer!

Pretty crappy lineup compared to other years. What happened to the likes of Joe Bonnamassa, Derek Trucks, etc.?

Any word on if there will be music in the Empire State Plaza? Or will it go the way of the skating rink...
