From the TU article: "Treated and released were Anthony Santoro, 25, and Vincent Santoro, 23, both of Cohoes, police said. The men's relationship was not available."
Relationship what?
Later on: "One had a bow for hunting and the other a video camera."
They totally had it coming.
And: "They laid out fake tom turkey decoys and had a device for making turkey calls. Above them were Watson and Ferrara. They saw the decoys and heard the fake calls."
Lucky they were not mating calls.

2 guys 1 decoy? I think I saw that video on redtube.

Oh B, you had to reference THAT video. Ugh. I just threw up a little bit in my mouth just thinking of it.

Hmmm... "Flaming Failing Gyno" might be an interesting drink. One part Bacardi, one part K-Y, and a match should do it.

What am I missing with this story? Maybe something's being heavily hinted at, but I'm simply not getting it. Is this girl really and truly in the dark as to why she's not being allowed to go to prom?
Idunno. She's obviously taking this awful hard and I feel bad for her, but I also can't help but feel that there's a lot being left out of this story (by the girl and possibly others) and that Piatek isn't doing this to be a villain.

@Kevin Marshall I feel the same way...like there is some detail being left out. I feel like there has to be some kind of back story to this. It seems odd that she would just be told she couldn't come after the school had signed the permission form.

@Kevin and Emma: Yep, there seems to be a missing piece here.
Either that, or they're following a rejected Dawson's Creek script.

@Greg - I was thinking more along the lines of old-school 90210.
For what it's worth, I protested outside Bishop Gibbons. My chant of "Let Donna Martin Graduate" seemed to fall on deaf ears, however.

One of the first things I would like to know is if other students had dates from different schools. Was this an isolated incident or was everyone prevented from bringing outside students?

Boo Bishop-Gibbons. Shame on you. If there is a hidden meaning that we're unaware of, it better be damned good to spoil these kids' fun. From what we're led to believe, these kids are good students who don't deserve this exclusion. If there IS something else to it, then the school should explain themselves.
