Alive at Five replay

If you didn't make it down to the Corning Preserve yesterday evening, Brian has posted a good video from the Blues Traveler set:

He also posted a bunch of photos. B posted a few, too.

Tweet of the night from @kcampbell: "Alive At Five recap: waited in line, Mayor Jennings said Hi, couldn't hear music, saw woman with a Red Bull can nestled between her cans."

A woman I work with said the acoustics were horrid. She was just off center and still felt the music was muffled. I read a tweet from a friend, and he said the same thing. He said it got better as he got to the center of the crowd.

I hope everyone had a good time regardless. :)

Thanks for posting that! Great video- that was my favorite song of theirs back in...1996?
I'm so bummed that I missed that show. It looked great. :(

Blues Traveler was awesome when they played the small clubs in NYC and during their Horde tour with Phish, Aquarium Rescue Unit and Widespread Panis. But I suppose what goes up, must come down, and it inevitably lands at free concerts like Alive at Five. After Popper's motorcycle crash and Bobby Sheehan's death, they just aren't the same Traveler. I wish I hadn't gone to the show and kept my memories of a tight, rockin' band.

Line Arrays need to be used in the proper configuration or they don't deliver.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
