Rudy Giuliani calls for a New York State constitutional convention in a NYT op-ed today. Among the issues he says should be addressed: the budget process, term limits, redistricting and lieutenant governor succession. (Btw: Rudy trailed Andrew Cuomo 49-40 in a hypothetical gubernatorial matchup in the last Siena poll.)

I think the likelihood of getting a Constitutional Convention called now is smaller than ever.
Why?
Both parties are afraid of loosing. Neither will be for it.
