Just make it stop

It looks like there might be some resolution to the state Senate drama. Pedro Espada tells the New York Post that he's headed back to the Democratic caucus. And the Republicans seem resigned to it happening.

Comments

Props to NYS Comptroller DiNapoli for suspending Senate pay so that Espada could no longer pay his legal bills and having no choice but to return.

So, we're right back to where we were exactly 32 days ago. This confirms the theory! If you make a threat/promise you'd better follow-thru or else people will think you're bluffing. Apparently D.Patt had a better hand than Pedro. It'll be interesting to see how this whole "appointment of the Lt." will turn out. *GROAN* So are the days of our lives.....

Thank you, Pedro, for wasting everyone's time and money.

But if the news I hear is correct the Dems have promoted him for his truly exemplary behavior. He was quoted as saying he did it all the for the good of the state...holy crap Now he is the leader of democrats in the Senate? Politics a truly incomprehensible.
