Bobble, bobble, bobble, bobble, bobble

Kim's bobbleheads

Jerry Jennings, Brian Stratton, Harry Tutunjian, David Paterson, Henry Hudson

We have to admit to turning a bit green with envy when we saw Kim Mazor's lineup of Capital Region/New York State bobbleheads.

Kim's posted a bigger version on Twitpic.

But where is Alan Chartock?

I have a problem with politician bobbleheads that sport advertsing.

I also would like to know how Harry Tutunjian has a deeper tan that Jerry Jennings.

I'm proud to say the own the only Bobblehead not included in her collection - Jow Bruno. Of course, that's the only one I own, so her's is much cooler than mine.

I'll be getting Michelle Obama tonight, though! :-) Anyone else going to the Women's Networking Event prior to the game??

If you go to a game where the bobbleheads are being given out make sure you get there early.

Only the first 1,200 fans get them, a fact that is grossly under disclosed on the Valley Cats website IMHO.

Jessica - how much do you want for Joe? ;-)

FYI - The ValleyCats policy for Bobblehead redemption is stated here:

Since we're on the subject of the Valley Cats...The Coalition of Young Professionals which supports JDRF will be hosting a night at "The Joe" on Wednesday, August 5. Tickets are $30 and all proceeds go to JDRF. Your ticket includes an all you can eat menu, Valley Cats hat and tickets to the game. It will be a lot of fun & it would be great to see some AOA fans there.

I feel like playing the "which one of these does not belong." Mayor, Mayor, Mayor, Governor, Henry Hudson??? Yeah, ok :)

I agree that Jerry should be a little more orangish with the tanning. *shrug* There are so many other things I could say, but that would be, well, rude. ;)

Wow, there are multiple word errors, and I got the entire day wrong on my post! Whoops! That will teach me to do 10 things at a time.

@ Kim, if I sell you Joe, then who will Michelle hang out with?? ;-)

Can't believe nobody's made a bobblehead of Jim Coyne yet...

I've got two of the Joe Brunos, and none of the others. I was really hoping to make it for Henry Hudson, but I was out of town at my 10th High School reunion. We had 15 people show.

Hey Slacker - I have an extra Paterson ... want to trade one of your Brunos? :-D

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

Having a child is indeed a second shot or at least a reminder of the magic of childhood. I thought of this yesterday and my 4 year old and myself rode figure 8's and generally raced all around the now empty parking lots of Sage, Albany College of Pharmacy and OPWDD on our BMX bikes. So many childhood 'far away' journeys are actually so close.
