What's up in the Neighborhood

The NeighborhoodAmong the topics in this most recent spin around the Capital Region's online neighborhood: lucky beer, traveling GPS units, art in Troy, appetizers, mind boggling menus, beets, sandals, dog pee and half-nakedness.

Rob got lucky with some beer while on vacation.

Dan heard that GPS units get around.

The women Bobby overheard were not talking about sheep or sheets.

Kate spotted some new, fun art in Troy.

Steve named a few of his favorite local appetizers -- and asked people to submit their own favorites.

Daniel: "My mind boggles when I look at local Albany restaurant menus, and I see the prices they are charging for what appears to be rather uninspiring food."

Albany Jane enjoyed some New York wine on her porch -- presumably she wasn't half-naked.

Celina found a way to use the beets that keep showing up in her farm share.

Jess L took a booze cruise on the Hudson.

Sara got custom-made sandals.

And Matt's dog pees on babies -- some commenters blamed the baby and parents.

You never really know with me - although I haven't recently been arrested for disturbing the peace or disorderly conduct...

I love the Sam's Home Cooking sign... really gotta make it in there one of these days!

Iain is a cutie! Congrats to @tenner and @pallagia!! :-)

Iain just gave a little arm flail, which I'm taking to mean he says hi to everyone out there in Internet-land!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
