What's up in the Neighborhood
Among the topics in this most recent spin around the Capital Region's online neighborhood: awkward encounters, rocket science, Averill Park, hamsters, gardens, martinis, Italian ice, wedding pictures and s'mores.
Leigh's been meeting her neighbors -- sometimes awkwardly -- because of her dog.
Rob concluded the scientists at the GE Global Research Center in Niskayuna should stay away from TV.
Matt expressed his love for Averill Park. (And he has a guitar hero, too.)
Laura has suspicions that her hamster is moonlighting.
It looks like Leah has been making some tasty food thanks to her garden.
Naomi's ethernet card wallet was unconsumed.
Melissa had some tasty drinks at DeJohn's -- including a strawberry rhubarb martini.
It sounds like Albany Jane had a good time -- and some good Italian ice -- at the Troy Pig Out.
Steve's "Name your favorite _____" series continued with entrees (one his picks was a Jack Burger from Jumpin' Jacks).
Daniel named a cocktail.
And Amy made an epic s'more.

Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

I agree with Leigh. Getting a dog is a great way to shuffle off your neighborhood anonymity, whether you like it or not.
I wonder if she has met Hudson and Hobbs, the lab-foxhound mixed brothers (one of them, Hudson, the black one, is mine). We go to the Jay Park sometimes, but Hobbs is there more often.

Summer, we try to avoid peak hours at the dog park because Eliza is still pretty clumsy at making friends. She basically wants to dive-bomb every dog she sees. In a friendly way, of course, but she's completely ignorant of how big she is! When she gets a little better in this area we should definitely arrange a puppy play date.

Thanks for the mention. Maybe some of your readers will buy some FUSSYlittleSTUFF.
My FLB baseball cap and t-shirt should arrive shortly. I can hardly wait.
