Live from CRUMBS Cafe

crumbs albumCRUMBS, the local music scene cultivator, has released a compilation of songs recorded as part of its CRUMBS cafe series. It includes a bunch of local acts. And it's free to download.

The lineup includes some of our faves, including Matthew Loiacono and Katie Haverly. But also in the mix are songs from a few acts we hadn't heard before -- and we're glad we know about them now. Among them: Mike Matta, whose track "All You Need" also features Amanda Rogers and Ben Karis-Nix. We also enjoyed "Where Do We Go," the song from Nightmare River Band.

The album has 12 tracks total. In addition to the free download, it's also streamable at the CRUMBS site.

Thanks for the post. After Matthew sent out his Wahhh update and after it was posted here we received over 20 downloads in just a few hours. Thanks again.

The first track featuring Railbird is my favorite.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

All Over Albany is for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. In other words, it's for you. It's kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who can help you find out what's up. Oh, and our friends call us AOA.
