Masculinity, baked

The ESP pot man cave gets intellectualized in the newest issue of the New Yorker. Of the space, Ben McGrath quotes New Urbanist theorist Andrés Duany: "These cats were escaping a code of behavior that probably was not male enough." Yes, that must be it. (Thanks, chrisck!)

The article in the New Yorker references a talk Duany gave (with Sandy Sorlien) in 2006. It was at the Congress for the New Urbanism.

The Albany man cave gets more intellectual treatment!

James Howard Kunstler picks up where Andres Duany left off on the Albany man cave and the topic of male space in America.
