My Exit: Nicole Bailey
Every Monday night our friends at WEXT do this thing called My Exit -- local listeners get to come into the station and program an hour of music. So we thought it'd be fun to find out a little bit about these people and why they picked the songs on their play list.
Here's tonight's person:
Who?
Nicole Bailey from Schenectady, NY.
How would you describe your musical taste?
I enjoy everything from Prince to Neko Case to 80's New Wave and beyond.
3 Songs from Nicole's show:
"Jealous Girls" by The Gossip. I love the percussion. And the guitar part on the last part of the song is incredible.
"The Last Day of Magic" by The Kills --"Midnight Boom" is such a brilliant and fun album, it was hard picking just one song of it for the show!
"Manchild" by The Creatures. This is Siouxsie Sioux's other project, an album that is timeless. This song has a nice flamenco sound with clapping, horns and a xylophone.
You can hear Nicole's My Exit show tonight at 8 at 97.7 or at exit977.org. Here's how to schedule your own My Exit show on WEXT.
Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
