Raise a glass
Schenectady was the winner of the drinking water taste test at the New York State Fair this year. Albany's water won the competition in 2007. New York City (and its upstate reservoir) won last year.

The best tasting water has come from three different cities over three different years?
"Oh man, do you remember how good the water was two years ago? I don't know what they've done to it, but it's just not as... you know... watery."
Something is amiss. Does city water really change dramatically year to year? It seems unlikely.

I'm a skeptic. I just moved from Albany to Schenectady a few months ago and I still miss the Albany water. Schenectady tastes too minerally or something.
And I must say, growing up on well water I'm very particular.
