Hmm... paying for less than stellar content or getting better, more quality content free online?
I vote for free. The face of modern journalism is changing and newspapers in general don't seem to know how to change and adapt. As my bf just told me "Journalists should be scared or getting involved". Twitter and Wordpress are quickly taking over your jobs.

As reluctant as I am to say it, I have to agree with Lola. The TU started falling out of favor with me, but their Twitter presence (along with AOA and the local TV news stations) has renewed my faith in their journalistic abilities. The Gazette came to the fork in the road and decided to make a U-turn instead.

If people wouldn't pay to read The New York Times online, what chance does The Daily Gazette have? This was a horrible direction to take their newspaper's online presence.
